VICTORIA FU (b. Santa Monica, California, USA) is a visual artist who received her MFA from CalArts, MA in Art History/Museum Studies from University of Southern California, and BA from Stanford University. She attended the Whitney Independent Study Program and was in residence at Skowhegan. Fu has received grants from Art Matters and the Harpo Foundation, and is a 2015 Guggenheim Fellow. Her artwork is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; Pérez Art Museum, Miami, FL; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA; MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge, MA; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, CA. She lives and works in San Diego, where she is Associate Professor of Art at University of San Diego, and maintains a studio in Los Angeles.
Her art installations have been exhibited in solos including at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, AZ; California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, CA; DeutscheBank VIP Commission at Frieze Los Angeles; Katonah Museum of Art, Katonah, NY; Center for Ongoing Research & Projects (COR&P), Columbus, OH; The Contemporary, Baltimore, MD; University Art Gallery at UC Irvine, CA.
